About Naturequestarchive

We are a Tokyo-based team of lifelong comic enthusiasts dedicated to building the most complete and accurate superhero encyclopaedia in the Asia-Pacific region.

Passionate About Comic Heroes Since 2010

Naturequestarchive was founded in Shinjuku, Tokyo, by a collective of comic collectors, writers, and historians who identified a critical gap in the Japanese market — there was no single, authoritative English-language resource dedicated to the full breadth of Marvel and DC character lore from an Asia-Pacific perspective. What started as a passion project among friends has evolved into Tokyo's premier encyclopaedia of superhero knowledge.

Today, Naturequestarchive maintains an active database of over 1,500 hero and villain profiles, a comprehensive cross-universe powers analysis system, an illustrated timeline spanning eight decades of comic history, and a curated collector's store featuring rare and premium editions. Our editorial headquarters operates from our flagship office in Shinjuku, where a dedicated team works continuously to expand and verify our encyclopaedic content.

Our editorial team comprises former comic writers, academic researchers specialising in popular culture, and passionate fans who have made comic studies their life's work. Every entry is fact-checked against primary sources—original comics, official publications, and canonical timelines—ensuring that speculation is clearly separated from confirmed canon.

Our Guiding Principles

Three core values shape every profile we write, every product we curate, and every community interaction we facilitate.

Accuracy Above All

Every fact in our database is rigorously verified against original comic source material before publication. We distinguish carefully between canon, legends, and fan theory. Misinformation has no place in our work.

Perpetually Current

Our team monitors every new comic release, theatrical release, streaming series, and official announcement to keep our profiles synchronized with the latest canon developments. The multiverse evolves; so do we.

Powered by Community

Our 50,000+ international community members contribute observations, corrections, rare find submissions, and diverse perspectives that continuously enrich our database. No single team can know everything; together, we can.
